I remember the very first official meeting like it was yesterday. I was only 18 years of age still trying to discover myself. Thanks to my parents I was guided into the right path and was constantly reminded to never forget our roots. During the time when I didn’t know how to help and what to do TYO UK was born. Not only did TYO UK help me grow as an individual but also helped me to grow collectively with others who shared the same ideology. TYO UK has come a long way from when we started and are continuously growing in the right direction, bearing the common goal of the Tamil people in mind.
I believe it is vital to take this opportunity to thank all individuals who brought change to TYO UK and made us stronger over the years. As you may be aware there are ups and down in any establishment but I would like to state a simple quote by the Great Martin Luther King, Jr. and end it as that.
